Hotel Danube, Bratislava
The consisting building is wrapped around with a second skin, beginning in the first floor. This folded skin is providing three different features at the same time: Firstly it appears as the “new dress” of the hotel, giving it a contemporary appearance. Additionaly it contains the necessary noise-protection on the side facing the danube. Equipped with openable elements, the new dress creates a protected and individual outdoor space.
